Types of glass used in insulating glass packages
Glass makes up about 90% of the surface of a carpentry panel. Therefore, the correct configuration of the glass package is very important for a unitary thermal insulating and soundproofing unit.

– it has multiple functions: advanced thermal insulation (due to its very low emissivity, the heat transported in the infrared radiation spectrum is reflected), solar control (reflecting a large part of the solar energy) and high transmission of natural light. The performances are ensured by the combination of layers applied on a transparent glass, using a cathodic sputtering process in special installations (magnetron), under conditions of high vacuum and controlled atmosphere.
